3.55 gear, my lockup 80e and a 27 inch tall mickey is only good for 147mph...

most cars are getting 10-20 % converter slip on a good day factor that in too.

Looking good so far!

I've been curious about the truck intake as well but for your goals I think I would go with something better flowing, especially on the top end.

Aeroquip socketless hose and fittings... a few magnafuel fittings in there too.

Build looks sweet! Looks almost exactly the same as my car.

Question, if you go to a junk yard and buy a motor how do you know it wasn't rebuilt in the past?

No idea, thats the way i got the motor.

This was def stock upon disassembly. The rings were completely stuck in the grooves. Look at the photo of the intake port, it def had some oil consumption issues.
