You could save alot of time and money and run the LQ4 stock other than the cam and springs...the main studs, rod bolts, ls9 gaskets, lifters arent really needed, you can take the stock short block further than that turbo will go. Head studs arent really even necessary. Rings and bearings are just a hassle too, the stock stuff is very good. Good luck!

well the block has been sitting for about a year in the garage disassembled... rings are a must because i broke one lol and the engine came out of my dads truck because of bad rings and he found a cheap used motor to swap... i havent looked at the bearings yet because the crank is still in the block so unknown condition of them... bur wouldnt rod bolts be a good idea because that is a weak point in most FI engines?

Yeah none of the stuff you want to do hurts, just ideas to save time and money. Rings definitely sound needed! The rod bolts dont seem as needed as most people once though, if you read some of the more recent discussions about it there are alot of people making alot of power with stock rod bolts. I think it was the original LS1 engines that had the worst rod bolts, the newer engines like the LQ4 have better. Cant hurt to replace them though and its not that expensive, especially since you already have it all apart. Good luck, should be a fun setup!

Also the LS9 springs are going to be a no go.... LPE told me that they specs of them are,
80# @ 1.800
285# @ 1.250
1.200 coil bind
arnt the LS6 springs like 95# closed?
looks like i cant save any money on springs lol....

Your build looks similar to my build, except you're going with the large cubic inch truck engine.

I read up on "Skinnies" build, and have tried to copy his findings since they seem to be very productive.
Most people seem to use the Patriot Gold valve springs with good success.
