Procharger guys with truck hat come in
I have a d1 kit with front mount. I have a truck hat that I cant seem to get to fit right. Heck, I cant even get it to go on the blower all the way (yes I took the metal inner ring of the hat out). I can get one side past the lip but cant get the other side to get on. Can someone post their pics of what theirs looks like? I cant get mine to stay on the head unit.

I dont think so. I just cant get it on there fully. I can only get one side over the little lip on the head unit. I tried to put a clamp over it like that but that just forced itself off.

Fitment with the stock radiator support is a pain in the ***...I ended up trimming as I'm a function > form kinda guy lol. There's some real interesting threads out there on what people have made for an inlet. I even tried one of those "Mushroom" style filters and it ended up being more of a restriction then good. I might try and get an actual HKS one and see how it does...I couldn't make more then 13psi with it where as with the truck inlet and a medimum size K&N I made 15.80psi. I made 18 with nothing on it at all lol

My issue wasn't contact with the radiator support it was getting the hat over the dang blower. I finnaly put a big slit in the hat so it would go over the lip of the blower and then I clamped it down. hopefully it will work. So agrivating.

mine came off. i went to napa and got a damn good t bolt clamp and put a bead of silicone around the edge where i knew it would never be able to get sucked in. let that dry over night and then zip tied it to relieve the weight and then clamped it down. it never moved again. until the motor let go. then i took it off. and the silicone was very easy to remove and was clean overall

mine doesnt really fit well. i had to grind the rib off the outside of the hat where it connects to the blower. every time i go to tighten mine, it pulls itself off the blower. it does rest on the radiator, so it isnt like its going to fall off. but its loose as ****. So your not the only one. I dont know if id trust a silicone coupler. Id be afraid it would collapse and reduce boost, or worse, get sucked into the blower lol. I think i will try a T-Bolt clamp, instead of a hose clamp.

Mine also was a crappy fit. I used a die grinder on the inside and removed a small amount of material. It then slipped right on. I use a T bolt clamp to hold it on the blower which works well. My problem is I can't fit the big filter on with the way I have my IC piping routed.

I found that the issue was with the procharger itself. At the top, there is a tight space where the lip on the hat was hitting the procharger. Here's a pic of where I'm talking about:
So on the hat, you have to trim the lip that's on the edge down in that area so that the hat will go all the way on. Once you do that, it'll seat fine. I also found putting some heat to the plastic helps as well. Not a lot, I'm talking hairdryer hot.
