nope i dont have knock sensors. ill keep it conservative and get em into the 12.2s or a little higher and see if i can get it built up faster, it seems like it will do it if i just stay in it

only 30% throttle and it went to 3200 nice and slow,

To the OP I have two questions...

1. How many girlfriends have you lost because you chose to make a sick nasty budget build instead?

2. Who does your inspections? Or is it a lick'em stick'em job... (no names please haha)

well had her out tonight with some tips and tricks and found out some things on my own...

i got the car to 4300 rpm and 4psi on the foot brake. this is going to be a riot.

i learned that if i stay at like 35% throttle the converter will climb and climb and climb lol if i get to like 45% it will push or spin the tire.

also i leaned it out to a 12.0 all the way into low boost helped alot. motor comes up easier.

Great work!

I dont get much time to read entire build threads. But I just read this one. Learned some good stuff ans enjoyed the read and videos.

I was wondering if my Sonoma build goals where optimistic. Go 10.5s with LQ4/4L80e and my 82mm Precision Turbo. But after reading this I am more confident I can do it.

Keep it up!

yep certainly seemed to help a little.

i hate to say it but mostly it was me being impatient, if i just sit with quarter throttle it just keeps going up and up.

hahaha i am forever single my firend.

i know alot of car guys that inspect the cars, i mean they pass inspection other than the exhaust out the front of the car.

wich if its old enough and i dont have an odometer they always end up being exempt really.

Haha forever single, your a smart man! And ok I don't have any issues getting my Camaro inspected, so maybe ill have to make a cheap simple exhaust just to toss on for inspection. I'd really like to do the exhaust out the hood just to be flat out weird but maybe behind the front wheel will appease me for awhile.. I never knew about the odometer trick, an the car I plan to use is an 83 so I don't know if that ok enough or not.
