Congrats, I love watching this car, keep on digging for more! The car seat in the back is a very nice touch!

we had a masterpower 76 on the truck and the gt45 made more power
not saying the masterpower isnt any good, on our combination the gt45 made better power as shown by dyno and MPH at the track

and its 1/3 the cost

Any possibility of going e85??

It would be interesting to see if it picks up hp at the same boost level with the 317s.

It'll be fine, just tune in the last cells for what boost you are gonna run, been there done that with 2 bar map sensors and 20lbs of boost lol.

I think the standard ms map sensor read 20-21 psi max. There is the map daddy up grade that handles up to 40 psi but I'm not certain if it will work on the v2.2 board. It might.

This is a PHENOMENAL thread!!!!! Thank you to the OP for doing this stuff, and for documenting it so well so we can all enjoy it.

If I had one wish though, I would have preferred that you found a way to keep everything really low-buck (2nd transmission, 2nd fuel pump, 2nd turbo). I know that's not realistic though, and I admire the way you have done the build over all. I totally understand why it is necessary to spend a bit of money here and there.

When all is said and done, this thing is a beast that was built for relative chump change. RESPECT!

I still say he is pretty budget friendly on the tranny, he traded that for a junkyard 4l60 IIRC and he mentioned that the fuel pump was under $500, and I think the turbo is around $1000.

I'm going to spend the money on mine where it counts IMO, probably a injection/timing setup like Denmah, valve springs, intake, head studs, ls9 head gaskets, fuel system, and cam. Then GT45 turbo, eBay intercooler, eBay piping, eBay wastegate & BOV, and a JY 5.3 or 4.8. I can't wait to start on my setup, hopefully I will start gathering parts this winter

Megasquirt is where it's at. I've never seen a slow car on megasquirt. I've been slowly converting to it. I'm not saying he is fast because he is using megasquirt. I just think that it is overlooked a lot of the time because its not efi live or hp tuners.
