yeah he broke a 28 spline axle finally, car was cutting high 1.5x 60fts and yanking tire!
he rebuilt it with 33 splines, 9 inch end housings, c clip eliminator and a spool
he will have it out soon again
his best pass was a 10.05 i think at 139 on 15 or so psi of boost

Yeah, it has a new 33 spline setup with a spool and new shocks and struts and new Lakewood lift bars. I need to pull the motor and swap the #5 piston out as I am pretty sure that it has a cracked ring land or two. Still hauling *** though, and I plan on racing it these weekend as is. Will be getting ported heads at the same time.

That was on the old suspension. The struts were ORIGINAL to the car. Yeah, 4 banger struts from 1982, LOL. It would launch really hard, but the struts and springs were so weak that it would settle down very quickly and often unload the suspension and spin. For example, in that pic up there, it spun right after it pulled the fronts. It is much more solid now, but I am not sure how it will hook. We will see.

Haha nice. The situation is familiar with me my dad use to do the same **** to me when I was a kid use to scare the **** out of me. Took him for a ride in my old 3rd gen 408 camaro and was blowin the tires off at 70mph and he was scared shitless but the only thing he said was ok that's enough and said the car runs good lol. He has since had a pace maker put in so I don't think ill force him in to the turbo rustang I'm puttn together.
Seems like your gettn the car dialed in.
