interesting notes, i looked at my data logs from the dyno that night i put up the video

611rwhp was averaging 12psi
654rwhp was averaging 14psi

so that was about 20rwhp per PSI

figuring 700+ is on tap for 17-18

I made it a couple minutes into the first video before I realized that you actually live on the northshore. You plan on bringing it out to any car shows this spring?

Shows? I don't know if it is show worthy, LOL.. However, starting as soon as possible I hope to be putting on some shows at NPR and SCR on the weekends!!

What shows do you go to?

I have a busted fox body with a 6.0 sure yours is in better shape lol. During the spring/summer they have the block party in Covington and a show in Hammond once a month. Heard you made it to the Dyno day last weekend, I was workin and couldn't make it. In my opinion I would stay away from no problem the prep usually sucks. If the weather holds out we might go to state capital for test and tune on Sunday.

Oh, I have been to the Block Party in Covington and the one in Madisonville is right down the road.

I have made tons of passes at NPR. It hooks like flypaper. SCR, on the other hand, has been crappy as of late. I always run my best ETs at NPR, and my best MPH at SCR.

Here is the last time I went to NPR.......

I like the block party bc they always have music somewhere after so its easy to make a night of it. Where is the show in madisonville. My cars have always been six speeds, 60' at NPR isn't my problem it's everytime I grab second it goes sideways.

The one in Madisonville is right on 22, at what used to be Badeaux's.

I have run my 2012 at NPR many times, 6 speed. It hooks well and I don't have issues. That Fox was a 408 with a C4 and that is a 1.42 right there. It dead hooked. SCR, on the other hand, I can never get a 60.

When is the last time you ran at NPR?

Regarding your smoke issue in your videos, I have a PT7675 I bought new and it did exactly what yours is doing. It smokes when the oil is cold and gets to 90 degrees and stops about 110 degrees, and no more smoke. This is with super light oil. If I put in any heavier oil than about 5w20, that PT7675 smokes a lot, all the time. I have a tiny restrictor in it, much smaller than Precision recommended when i called but Ive got a little over 2000 miles on it with the tiny restrictor. Like I said, even with the tiny restrictor and water thin oil, it will still smoke a little on a very cold morning. Put the same brand and weight oil back in it that Matt had in it and see if it stops smoking.

The shaft play looks fine too, until the blades touch the housing you wont know if its bad or not. The play that really matters supposedly is the in and out (pulling on the shaft, not rocking it) Nelson mirror image turbo wtf I wouldnt listen to anything anyone said if they bring that up.

I pulled the return line off and it was pretty dry. Blew it out with compressed air, took off the feed line, blew compressed air through the top and put it back together. As far as I can tell, it is fixed. The oil burning has been reduced by about 99%.

Doug, I ran a best of 10 flat @ 139.6 last weekend on a 1.59 60 foot. Hoping to see some 9's this weekend. It will be warmer, which will hurt power a bit, but it should hook better. It spun on every pass.

I agree! I didn't pay but $150.00 for my four door fairmont and it ran great with the straight six. It run's better with the 80mm 6.0 though. Haha!
