yep! he will b flogging the fairmont while im building my hotside friday. Man i hope the sloppyguys give out a trophy for longest distance traveld for dynodays next year. I'm already trying to find a way to get there. But by then none of the tracks in PA are gana let any of us sloppy approved cars and trucks run into the low 9's without any safety equiptment..... i got sent home for only having 1 throttle return spring last year

full floating wrist pin instead of a pressed, and the rod is a H beam style instead of a I beam hopefully much stronger, as i know people with gen4 **** making more power than me and not bending anything.

gapped all my rings to 28-30 so its ready for some abuse.
i plan to hit it with 30lbs if the ignition system will let me.

motors built, reused the ls1 head gaskets, and slammed it all in and bolted up the trans and connected a few things, and thats where i am quitting for the day, think i might do a compression check tomorrow as soon as i get the converter tight and put the starter in, to see what kinda compression its at now, since it has flat top 5.3 pistons in it now, gunna have more squish

This GEN 4 stuff here/pistons and rods, where/what motor did you source them from and are you putting these into your L33 block? If I understand it correctly thats what your doing!

if you dump the exhaust out the front the cars are pretty quiet
running it under the car makes it drone in my opinion

OK Denmah... got a question for ya... which would you choose... (Using your builds as a model).

A) 2003 5.3 motor with 165,000 miles or
B) 2005 4.8 motor with 86,000 miles

Better Rods & lower miles vs. higher displacement... what would you do? (Same price...)

The newer motor has better LS2 rods if you want to make more than 600rwhp....

I agree I've had 2 other turbo cars with just a dp in front of the wheels works great and no drone.
