It's for my dual catch can setup. I have a one way check valve to stop boost from entering the crankcase on one can and on the other you need a source of vacuum under boost...hence the fitting on the airfilter

I keep having setbacks with my set-up. I was supposed to be on the dyno tonight but I lost my clutch hydraulics.
I really want to see what these huron speed kits can do. Mine pulled like a SOB on 15lbs. It was almost too much.
Enjoy
My catch can setup is exactly the same down to the saiku michi cans you used. So far it's working well so you should have good luck. I had issues using a short filter like that when tuning for higher boost. No issues at 11 or less psi, but when going higher my IAT's would rise and boost would taper badly. The filter was choking under the pressure and causing the turbo to work really hard causing higher IAT's. I since put a larger element and also routed it down and away from the pluming. No issues so far. Keep that in mind if you experience the same. Very nice build btw, looks very similar to mine.
