Default Turbo Guys!, I need help! What Kind of Turbo is this!!

Hey guys I bought a turbo off ebay , and the guy who was selling it must of stumbled upon it and sold it not knowing much about it at all. So I think I got a hellava deal on a great turbo....but i'm not sure. Now it looks indentical to a GT-45, but I know its not a GT...i think, and its very silimar to a T-60 or T-70, but anywho here are the specs:

Turbine side says: Garrett 010388 (M3?) A/R 1.32:
A/R 1.32 T4 flange?, 3"x2" Inlet and 4" outlet w/ ~65mm spool inside.

Compressor side says: M24 A/R .70 Garrett APM:
A/R .70 4" inlet w/ ~56mm spool inside and 2" outlet

Thats all I see that is on it, now I've looked for about a week straight on the internet but can't figure out any Horsepower rating / Compressor maps / Turbine maps...etc. So if you can help me PLEASE give me all your input! Thanks!!! Oh yeah i'm going to use it for my 383 LT1, and i'm wondering if it will work.

I believe you have one I have, its a TO4E Garrett. I bought it years ago and has been a paper weight since. Just havent had a need for it yet lol. I was going to use it to mock up a turbo kit once. Still have it sitting there

Thanks a lot so far, T04E eh? Ya I know I can't just put any turbo on my V8 cuz of how much exhaust its pushing and air its suckin, dont want 11psi at 2500, then none and 4000 cuz the compressor can't keep up, but this is why i came to you guys. T04E's are quit large, do you think mine can handle 600rwhp? I just checked again, and the inducer for the compressor has a pair of 6 fins and is 57mm w/ a 2" exducer. I still can't get an acurate reading on the turbine exducer, i'm still saying 64-66mm. But with these numbers, can you make a mock map for my Compressor/Turbine? or give me approx. how much horsepower you think it can handle. Thanks again.

It should do 600rwhp I believe when I looked up mine, but you need to get a smaller A/R like a .96 or close to it. That A/R is huge, not overly huge for a 383 but I wouldnt recommend it. I will try and find more info for you.

Try turbomustangs.com forums, if you still aren't sure what type it is. They know a lot about this stuff.

Your saying the Exducer or Major Diameter of the compressor wheel is two inches? If you could measure with a caliper the sizes of both the Minor and Major diameter of the compressor wheel I could tell you what size turbo it is. Right now I can tell you that your compressor housing is a T04S and not a T04E. The T04E housing normally has a 3 inch inlet and a 2 inch outlet.

240sx, the inlet on mine is small probably 2" where the actual wheel is. The place where you attach say the cone filter or coupling is 3 inches. The outlet is 2" Mine is a T04E.

The outlet is 2" Mine is a T04E.
Ok cool, I actually meant the turbo that 93turbolt1 purchased. Now that I see the pictures of the turbo. I think your turbo may be a VNT turbo off of a Diesel truck. Either that or your turbo came equipped with an "anti-surge" compressor housing.
