I/we never told him it was getting restored back to showroom stock. Told him it was going yo get fully rebuilt, which it is. Eventually. Really the only unreversable mods wiyhout welding are the holes in the firewall welded up, notches in the corners of dash, inboarded rear springs and mini-tubs. Its keeping all stock sheetmetal and the front clip bolts on. Floor pans were rusty and replaced with factory style.

Yeah I'm just trying to justify mods.

Thought I would update this project a little.
Drive shaft loop, new floor pans installed, had 1/4" 6061 Trans tunnel/shield for the 4L80e bent up and I welded the pieces together.

And now for the good stuff:::::::::::
My pal Blake Hughes of 417Motorsports is fabbing the entire turbo kit including the mods to my Holley Hi-Ram. Will be mounting 65mm Cobalt drive by wire TB's. Stay tuned for more details and pics.
