Default F1r procharger on high compression motor

Wassup guys im looking for a bit of insight here my current dilema is that i have some tfs 215's that were milled 0.10 and i also have the tsp tsunami cam so i'm just guestamating that my cr is around 11:1ish. I want to run a cog setup with this and i was wondering what would be a safe boost level to run on the sbe until i'm able to forge the motor.

Run some e85 or a lot of meth.

Just make everything you have now bigger probably. Pumps injectors and such.

Depends on how you want to do your fuel system and if you want to be on the high end on the F1-R's power making capabilities. I personally don't think 1100 rwhp is not out of the question with that compression ratio and some good octane.

I think some 100lb+ injectors, or some 1000cc, would be enough. Get an adjustable fuel regulator. Base pressure plays a big role on what type of fuel system setup you can go with. Three 255 pumps or two and a nice inline pump can suffice. basically there are a lot of options. Most people tend to use 93, that requires a lot less fuel. I'll let the fueling experts correct me if I'm wrong on my advice.

If you want 1100rwhp get some 2000cc or so injectors.

On e85 my little 2v car maxed out 96lbs which is 1000ishcc in no time. Probably at 800 or 900rwhp.

.

As mentioned, go with some kind of alcohol fuel, E-85.
My new motor is 11-1 and methanol loves it.
The guy I got it from made 42 lbs of boost & 2100+ HP on a SBC.

I'm gonna link this to my thread..

Good info here. I have a forged 403ci LS2 motor in a built 2002 Camaro. But i have 12.3-1 compression with the same heads. My heads a little work done to them. We opened the port up to a 4" and dropped in bigger intake valves. from a 2.040 to a 2.055 intake valve. Heads were milled to 63cc but them we opened the bore on them. I'm not sure of any places around here that sell E85..

No, I'm telling that his blower can support 1100rwhp and to build his fuel system so it can be ready for the forged engine. There is no reason to buy the fuel system twice. The base fuel pressure makes a sizable difference on the limits of the injectors. The lower it is, the lower the limit that they can support. Blackonblack what was your pressure set at? You could be correct in him needing the 2000cc's.

93 octane would support 11.1cr on low boost with a dedicated water/meth set up right. By low I mean 8lb or less on a daily driver. For race day you'd want higher octane to wind the wick up and forged pistons. The combustion pressure on that cr at higher boost will blow the ring lands on stock pistons.

You can run 12-14lbs of boost with 11-1 , 93 and methenol. We do that alot on stock motors but there is more too it like DCR ect.

With a F1R it will be doggy. You'll need a 5.5" wheel to keep boost down which probly won't fit.

Spend the money on a new motor first since thats part of your plan.

Run the thickest head gasket you can find. Limit rpm which will limit boost.

E85 is nice if its available. Plumbing it is a pain.

Sounds cool and these are good problems to have.

I have a forged motor with ARP 2000 studs through out my 403ci LS2 with about 12.3-1 compression. What would my options be? I wasn't looking at a F1 blower but more along the lines of a D1 blower. How much boost could I run and what would my options as far as fueling it go? I don't think we have E85 here in New Orleans yet..
