Get on the horn with them. I was shocked by this as well. I received my engine in August and got my paperwork in November. That was after week after week of emails, and phone calls of bugging them to get this.

The cam card is all I got when I got the engine. I was expecting some other paperwork, but there was nothing. My cam card did not match the blueprint, which did not match my invoice. Weird, remember how I said disorganized.

The other main thing I was interested in were flow numbers from my heads. I was quite disappointed when I actually saw the flow numbers. They were significantly less that other companies for the similar head. I really wish I would have just used out of the box LS3 (or similar heads) or probably could have even had them ported for about the same money. The out of the box LS3's would have flowed better than my ported 243's. To me, an honest selling approach would have been to sell me on the LS3's right away.

AES/ Mike and I talked today along with Jared at race proven performance. What we found after pulling the oil pan is that the reluctor is bent which You can see in the video. AES believes it got damaged in shipping due to it sitting on a crate with no oil pan. they are paying out of there pockets to have it shipped to and fro and get it fixed and run it in shop in case anything else comes up. They will be providing pictures and video to show it running and being broke in before it comes back. Mike was very cool about the whole ordeal and wants everyone to know they will do what it takes to make sure it's right and that customers are happy. I'm super pleased with this obviously because nothing is more important to me than getting the thing running and ready to race for spring. They promised a real quick turn around.

I'm happy to hear that they stepped up and are helping you out. Mistakes happen, and it looks like they are doing everything they can to make it right.

I'm going to put my mod hat on now.... bear with me, I'm new at this.... let's keep the bashing out of this thread. I'm guilty of calling out the vendor, and probably shouldn't have. I8UR4RD had some issues, he got in contact with the engine builder, and they are making it right. Like I said, mistakes happen, and everyone in life should be given the opportunity to correct their mistakes. It looks like it's happening here.

Kudos to Mike and the AES team. I've talked to Brian a couple times for extended lengths on HIS dime. He seems like a good guy and offered to help with my build when we were waiting on pistons. Good luck

I think it's definitely worth it. Well it was for me seeing as I'm kind of a little further away than the average customer lol.

i thought i approached things with a clear head. i may have bashed once but just in frustration that Im 35-40k in parts not to mention labor and still not running. If anyone asks me who to go to I will still recommend them. I never thought I would see someone treat others the way I do.

yeah i was surprised to get a call back and talk with a helpful person who seemed generally concerned with my project. I basically told them I bought the best of everything I could think of and thats why I went AES.

To aes or to you. What did you decide with the LSx block option?

To aes. I'm to tired of waiting. to sit here and throw money at a block I don't make enough power to justify doesnt make sense right now. I need rear suspension more. I'll worry about that later. It was tempting.

Def good news! I'm curious to see this thing fire up and run! I'm on standby for when it gets back up and going.
