Just wanted to say before Ls fest I didn't know of this car or driver. I'm new to the FI so the Nova caught my attention. Once I found it in the pits I couldn't get over how nice and clean everything looked. Then the owner walked up and he answered all the questions I had. (With no hesitation unlike some people I encountered). But anyway just wanted to say thanks for your time and if Iived closer to you that I wouldn't hesitate to ask you to build my car. Its just nice to know their are still down to earth car people.

It was great talking to some of you at LSfest and Im glad to answer any questions. I had a blast! Ended up getting first in the drag portion of the All Access Pass and Grand Champion competition and 12th overall. I was pretty happy with that.
Monte2wen, care to explain??

Just thought I would post in here how much I have enjoyed this thread. I am currently in the middle of a 69 Nova Build myself, a ground up build. Just acquired a LQ4 6.0 for my base... going to do an 88mm Precision turbo on E85. I will be doing aftermarket Injection and ignition. Researching now on cam and heads for my build. HOPING to see somewhere in the neighborhood of 1200 to 1500 RWHP.

It is a precision pro mod 88mm.... Can produce upwards of 1650 at the flywheel.. that is why I said I was looking at 1200 to 1500 RWP...

I know what those 88mm precisions are capable of... we have twin 88's on out Outlaw drag radial car and it is in the neighborhood of 3200 RWHP...has been 4.25 @183mph in the 1/8th on a 315 Drag Radial... Check it out...
