900? Are you going to push more boost, or are you installing a new turbo?

Pics! Pics! I'm going T6 on my setup. These things take up quite the footprint.

Really want to take the car to the next level. Thought about staying with the 76 and doing the engine mods and trying it out but Im feeling the turbine is getting on the small side if I plan on taking it to the max. Lots of SBF guys making it happen with that turbo but I have this PT88 laying here and the 84mm turbine is better suited. Still small .96 T4 AR but should make it spool well with an auto. Since I got it in the 9's last year, Id like to shoot for 8's this year if it stays together. Needs some safety updates as well though.

FWIW, I say 900 but Id really like to have a 1000rwhp 5.3. I know its just dyno numbers but I want it.

You still running it with the trunk fuel cell and twin pumps under the trunk? Also, tranny cooler back by the trunk still? You've had a lot of drive time on this thing so I wanted to see if you had any issues?

Still looks awesome man!

Yes, still the same except the Walbro 255's have been replaced by Bosch 044's. Trans cooler works great under there.

Nate,

Do you have any pics of where you mounted the trans cooler? Also, do you have a temp gauge to monitor the heat of the trans?

How much boost were you running when you trapped 139mph?

Do a search under the threads he started. Look for his original 6.0 build. It shows up pretty early in the thread.

If not then you can definitely find it on Pro-Touring.com.

I have a good pic but photobucket has been slow lately. Its flat under the trunk floor with about 1" between the floor and cooler. Has a fan and a thermostat on it. I dont have a temp gauge but the thermostat kicks the fan on at 160 degrees and I dont hear that kick on too often.

139 runs were at 17psi with it being a little lazy out of the hole on the footbrake. I flip a toggle half track to 23psi. It has run 141 before.

I hear that man, beautiful car, and if you've got the know how, time and money then by all means, make it happen! Can't wait to see what the 88 will do in that thing! I opted for the S475, T6, 1.32 96mm turbine, if I need bigger, I'll go to the 80. I was also concerned with a small turbine on a 6.0. Just about ready to fire mine, got the engine primed up, just finishing up some wiring (replaced the whole harness for the entire car) and will get this thing going!
