Got the engine set back in and bolted up.

Bolted up my hotside so I could mount the turbo and run the oil feed and return lines, decided to do them in the black braided hose to switch it up a little. Also wrapped the first section of the crossover pipe with the DEI titanium stuff, gotta say I definitely like the look of the stainless better but this stuff looks pretty good too.

Installed a new battery tray on the driverside and relocated some of the factory wiring to accommodate the battery. Still need to run battery cables and make my fuse relay center. I ordered two 8-circuit fuse blocks and have a bunch of relays so I'm thinking I will make a panel with everything on it just trying to decide where to put it so it's accessible but looks clean at the same time.

Also noticed while I had the downpipe installed I forgot to put a bung in it for the wideband, so it had to come back off and go back to my welding buddy, hopefully I will get it back from him later today.

I installed my coil packs and plug wires with some heat shields I ordered, but am wondering if they will work because they don't come up the wire all the way to the coil like I had hoped. What do you guys think?

Oh forgot to mention I also had to switch to the 98-02 camaro dipstick to clear the flipped manifold.

I plan on relocating the coils below the manifolds on the crossmember at some point was just hoping I could get by like this for the time being.

I remember, that's why I was asking if this would work at all.

I wrapped the rest of my merge pipe and installed my radiator and fans, but ran into clearance issues on my lower radiator hose with my crossover pipe. It cleared before so not sure what happened, will redo it and post pics.

I also got my boost controller mounted, I went with a turbosmart 2 stage unit so I can have two settings available at the flick of a switch.

Installed the remaining cold side and BOV so I can run all my vacuum/boost reference lines. Looks pretty complete in this pic, just wish it actually was lol.

Not much of an update, still slowly working on buttoning everything up. I got a new lower radiator hose installed, still pretty close to the crossover but it should work. I will post pics once I get them uploaded from the camera. Decided to go ahead and relocate the coils so I'm building mounts for those right now, also had to lower the boost controller it didn't quite clear my hood and I have a plan for my fuse relay center, just need to build the box to house everything then wire it up.

I just went through your thread. Doing a nice job!
I see you have been keeping the visa card warmed up as well. Ha!
We need intercooled cards I think.

Progress has been slow, I'm still working on the fuse/relay center. I built a box and didn't like how it turned out so started over, the current one looks better but isn't finished yet, also built a small support bracket to replace the hood latch assembly. But that's about it for real car updates. I got tired of working in the dark too so installed some better lighting in the garage.

Also acquired a couple UMI goodies

I can't wait either lol it has been a slow build for me but getting close now. Thanks for the compliment. It's kinda funny you posted in here, I was just reading over your thread yesterday! I saw the mention of going turbo and mini-tubs, looking forward to see you start on all that and if you have any questions let me know.

Doing good work brother. Just grabbed a Chevelle as well. Not going turbo any time soon, just a basic iron headed 6.0 with an Lq4 mild cam...and that's it...for now.
