5.3L PT7875 RX7 Numbers Inside!
Finally had some time to get my buddy Mike's turbo LM7 RX7 on the dyno last night. Some details on the car:
86 Mazda RX7
2005 LM7 5.3L - ARP head studs, ARP rod bolts, ring gap @ .025", stock heads, GT2-3 cam, Patriot duals
120lb/hr low imp injectors with Versafueler
Twin Bosch 044 pumps, on E85
PT7875 on a custom front mount kit that we made, truck manifolds, Tial 38mm gate (controlling boost as low as 5psi and as high as 18psi so far with no issues!), Tial 50mm BOV
8.8" Ford rear with 3.23 gear
T56, RBC custom clutch
Final numbers on 18psi were 658rwhp/714rwtq on E85. Keep in mind this dyno reads very low, my 4100lb GTO traps high 140s and "only" makes 700rwhp on this dyno. We were very happy with these numbers, this car should have no issue with 155mph traps at this power level IMO.
Thanks to Street Tuned Motorsports in Avon, NY for the dyno usage!
