So what's the fix? I've broken two Gates and have purchased 2 Goodyear Gatorback belts they should be here by Thursday. Just don't want to trash expensive belts. My auto tensioner has 40K on it.

For those running an ATI dampener, what size belt is your accessory belt? I'm running a 6pk2020.

Whatever stock was, though mine came with the vortech kit. It has 30k miles worth of dd and frequently hitting 6k or so and never a peep out of it...

Well the stock belt was a 6pk2005, when I picked up the car from Speed Inc they had put the 6pk2020 on it. So I'm wondering if maybe the belt is to long....

I'm running the Corvette style front accessories and my belt was walking off the crank by one rib. My problem was that the idler pulley would get slightly cocked when I torqued it down which then drove the belt towards the front of the crank pulley.

I picked up a new auto tensioner from advanced and a gatorback belt. Should have time to throw them on this evening and see if it fixes my problem. Really wanting t drive the car, temps have been low, nice crusing weather.
