Cheap good Electronic boost controller?

been looking at the 500 for a street car, how do you program it?
I was thinking the 1000 was all touch screen no laptop, is the 500 like that, is it pretty friendly to work with

eboost street is pretty cheap and works really well if you arent interested in all the extra features of the eboost2. all i want for right now is rock solid boost and 2 different boost settings

Eboost and eboost2 are really good units and the exile controller is a good one that from what I hear is more user friendly than the eboost. Here is a link to the exile boost controller

Here's my opinion of a few units mentioned here.
AEM tru boost- No rpm input or rpm based correction. So, if you set the duty cycle you will initially achieve your target boost and if it falls off by redline (which many of these turbine restricted combos do) there is no fixing it. Wouldn't use it if it was given to me.
Exile- Basically all we used before Eboost but it will get boost spikes unless you are running it in wastegate mode. No rpm correction.
Eboost2 or Eboost street- Both easily attain perfect boost control. Eboost 2 has more set points and options if you need them. Both have rpm correction so you can dial it in to have the exact same boost pressure from peak to redline. Overboost protection, you can use it to power a shift light, (I've used EB2 output to control exhaust valves on C6Z). EB2 has boost by gear capability if you need it. IMO the Eboost controllers are the best you can get for a car that will see time on the street.
