Default Add 100-150hp ... Information overload. Best way?

I've been going through so much information on here... Google... Other sites. Everyone goes into the FI world trying to get huge numbers. I just want to use my ported heads, ls6 cam, and a new bottom end. How can I add 100-150 hp with FI without breaking the car or the bank?

depends on what breaking the bank is for you. your going to spend at least 4500-6000. plus tuning fuel and time. seems like n20 is a good solution for you. install, tune, go.

cheapest route to go would be to piece together a kit of some kind, which takes a while, and you may get burned on buying used parts, but do it right and you might get by. this is not the area to skimp in though.

best of luck.

I'd really like the sc route. 6 grand isn't bad. I was thinking N2O but man... What a pain in the ***. LoL nitrous can get expensive too.

If you're only looking for 100-150rwhp more I would look elsewhere. Nitrous would be easiest, and a good H/C package will get you there without breaking a sweat and cost half as much.

It will already be heads and cam. I want 100-150 over that. The motor will support whatever my choice ends up.

Procharger is probably the simplest. I kit can be pieced together used for less than $3500. also note you will need some other supporting mods.

Gotcha. What are the current specs on your motor? Any idea what your compression ratio is?

Take a look at my complete ProCharger kit, which includes everything you need except for the tune. This system gives you room to grow, so that you can up the boost down the road should you choose to. 8 psi of boost will normally give you an increase of 140 rwhp. There are options at the bottom of the link to delete some of the parts, in case you already have them. Bob
