It's been said but you can decide on how you want it to respond. For fun, a 91mm would be ideal. It would take a little bit, unless setup just right, and youd get to feel the boost come in which is what makes a turbo car so fun. Nothing like feeling the car run on motor for a second, and then psshhhhhhh gone city.

With twins, you can choose almost any horsepower you'd want. And anywhere from 67-76 would spool pretty damn quick. Plus TT-TA just sounds cool.

With the procharger, youll be deaf.

heres an interesting video that was posted recently of frost tuning doing a 427 TT TA . 78mm's

its the age of the young guns! I'm 24 and have been building/tuning turbocharged vehicles since I was 16. My advice: listen and learn from other people's experiences. Twins and an auto will be ****. But since you want to keep your 6speed, think about daily drivability...err... "race-ability". Yea, you may have more power than the guy next to ya, but on the street it doesn't matter. In most races you wont have 2+miles of clear road to catch the 500whp terminator who just put 5 cars on you from a 40 roll on the hit.

Why not do a setup like Automagic? 408, AFR 225s, a N/A cam, LS6 Intake, a 91mm, TH400, and I think 3.25 Gears.. If SW (TT Gallardo) wouldn't have jumped every single race Automagic would have a good chance of winning.

KISS: Keep it Simple Stupid.. you want to run with Turbo Busa's? You're going to need power, plain and simple.. Go with a good motor from someone like LME or KUP, doesn't need to be 6 bolt even. 408CI, Maybe a 390CI, TH400, 9", and a 91mm with a bigger Turbine wheel. You need a solid list of goals. Ones that won't change.

Nice, I'll keep looking for pics of this car. So it's a '98 on the title?

Yes, titled and I checked the VIN..

I got a TON of paperwork with the car.

Original window sticker, order form, option code page, original temp plate... every maintenance record.

Originally owned by Timothy Sposito... 3yr 36month lease on 4/11/98

Went into debt collections 6/23/00 (owing $11,885) so it looks like he never made payments.

Weird thing is... I have paperwork showing overlapping addresses of Tim Sposito and Ronnie Duke

I also have a window sign from a car show in '99... Owner is listed as "Ron & Tim Sposito"

Day 1 progress

Why cut a 8pt rollcage down to a 6pt roll cage? "Because Streetcar"

I may end up going back to a full cage, but the halo was not how I would put it in. Also, Ive never messed with chromoly before, holy **** is that light. awesome!

So today I cut the cage down and started cutting a few more brackets out that I wont be using... Some of the metal work is a little to "race car" so Im going to clean it up a bit, while cutting weight. Most of the day I spent running in circles... This is a big project to jump into the middle of... So much that I want to do...

It's an interesting start.
I think everything else has been said every which way.

Look forward to the build.
