Blwn1 I am just disappointed with the whole trans thing. I call them, tell them what I had and what I was going to use it for. They told me what I needed and I bought it. I have nothing but good things to say about their customer service. My converters are always spot on from PTC. I guess maybe I was expecting more since my last th400's were built in a locals garage and held up pretty good with 1000hp.

Maybe they will make it right for you. I have never had anything but good experiences out of them. I'm intrigued to see what failed in the th400.
Atleast you could grab a spare and are still on for Texas. I would be pissed too, if I put in all that time and money and something I was not supposed to have to worry about failed on me.
Good luck in Texas and hope it stays together.

Thanks man! 3.25 rear gears. Something failed in my shortblock halfway through the TX2K meet. Its not making any noise but oil pressure went low (not gone) and copper in my oil. I checked oil pump, pick up tube and o-ring. All ok and trust me I thought I put the wrong o-ring or something in the car. Turned out it was the right one so I dont know what the hell happened.
