Yah pretty shitty to jump up and bash them... Their customer service was awesome through my experience. Did you do the install?

Nah hes not going to bash em, as long as they make it right before tx2k. It will be interesting when we get full details of the issue.

I guess if you know the guy, reading on fb what he posted. Would want to use PTC if I Didnt know who they were... But the local 5.00 LS street car running a PTC converter convinced me...

I read what he posted. Nothing he said was bashing it was more along the lines of disappointment and frustration.

Blwn1 I am just disappointed with the whole trans thing. I call them, tell them what I had and what I was going to use it for. They told me what I needed and I bought it. I have nothing but good things to say about their customer service. My converters are always spot on from PTC. I guess maybe I was expecting more since my last th400's were built in a locals garage and held up pretty good with 1000hp.

Maybe they will make it right for you. I have never had anything but good experiences out of them. I'm intrigued to see what failed in the th400.

Atleast you could grab a spare and are still on for Texas. I would be pissed too, if I put in all that time and money and something I was not supposed to have to worry about failed on me.

Good luck in Texas and hope it stays together.

Agreed, I think ANYONE that were to go through that same situation would be frustrated and dissapointed. I would even be mad as soon as that tranny would have went out.

Thanks man! 3.25 rear gears. Something failed in my shortblock halfway through the TX2K meet. Its not making any noise but oil pressure went low (not gone) and copper in my oil. I checked oil pump, pick up tube and o-ring. All ok and trust me I thought I put the wrong o-ring or something in the car. Turned out it was the right one so I dont know what the hell happened.
