What muffler(s) are being used that quiets the exhaust down but still maintains turbine whistle?

Turbo diesel guys have been using a FTE brand resonator that keeps turbine whistle and tones down exhaust.

Do you actually NEED a muffler? Open downpipe will do it.

I use bullets...

see video in my sig...the lower one I think. Sounds louder when it generates more heat. In this video..car was cold and had stage freight.

Those are 5" long bullets...3"inlet/outlet/4"can...stainless wool packed. Mine are custom but you could get bullets a lot of places.

I made my own "bullet" type mufflers, they are a straight through type (similar to a resonator)and they have more whistle noise over open an downpipe imo. Maybe this isnt normal, but its my experience

OPEN DOWNPIPES(sound like *** imo)

That's one of the best sounding turbo exhaust, still can hear the turbine whistle. So when your turbos get hot, turbine whistle is louder? If so, bullets it is!!

I like it better with the bullets too! How is your bullets designed, just like regular bullets? Also what turbo do you run?
