Sort of. In Aus, the rules suck. Engine size with forced induction depends on weight of vehicle and there's a formula to use. Biggest engine for my weight is a 4.3. So de-stroked/sleeved 4.8 it is.

And i would have engraved 4.3L on the sides of the block and call it done. People do all kinds of **** (edm #s into blocks for running bigger ci in smaller classes ect) like this in the US all the time. It isnt cheating if you dont get caught

I measured them a few weeks ago and they're actually 17x10. I'll get rear end measurements and bs for you tonight.

Woops i'm **** and forgot to measure. Will get onto it for you!!

I'm not minitubbing either. If anything i'll just trim out the rounded corners and the fuel filler area since that's not being used anymore. I don't need wider than 275's. I just want to be able to go lower and not scrub out.

Also re-ordered my fuel system as the original was lost when the shipper broke up my pallets............

HUGE thanks to Mike @ AES for looking after me on pricing! Went with the same setup nearly. Aeromotive red belt driven pump. Aeromotive 13113 boost reg. FST500 filter. Fuel Injector Connection 2200's. Mike also did me a super duper ridiculous deal on a sanden 508 compressor as that went missing too.

Winter is ridiculous as well. Around me it can get to 40/50f at night. I've been out riding early AM and been hit with low 30's on the speedo.

I have 275/40/17 on the back of my 66 nova. I have them on a 17x8 rim with 4" back spacing. When I had the stock rear end they would rub a little bit when going around a sharp corner but I did not have my fenders or anything rolled. You could not stick your finger between the tire and quarter panel. I have sense blew the stock 10 bolt apart and have a ford 9" out of a 1957 ford and factory it is a 1/2" narrower than the stock nova rear end, gave me plenty of clearance between quarter panel and tire. Thought it would help

Wedge seat brackets/sliders turned up. Pretty happy with them. Not 100% fit, but darn close enough. Will have to drill 2 holes. But they sit center and flat. Put the seats in, wheel back on, had a seat. Feels good

Also tunnel is done on top, don't have photos finished. Still have to finish underneath and then paint it all.

Selling T56/shifter. Ordering a T56 Magnum Level 6 from RPM. SFI bellhousing, black powdercoat, oil sprayers & pump. May as well do it now..
