increase power but not boost?
would changing to a better flowing head and mild cam increase hp and tqe safely or would i be better off just raising the boost a few lbs and tuning for it?
is there a better flowing oem head that you would suggest? i read alot about changing heads to lower compression in order to raise the boost lvls. also what cam would you suggest? i dont want it to sound like a heavily cammed car at idle. the more stock sounding, the better
Only oem cylinder head I would go with over the stock ls1 heads would be 799/243. They will raise your compression a fuzz but the combustion chambers and ports are much nicer and make more power.
