Here are a few vids of the car on the dyno (3.5psi / 14psi / & 19psi). On the first two you can here it hit a brick wall when that converter couples and stops revving (4600 rpm the first pull and 5200rpm on the 14 psi pull). The last pull was at 19 psi and sounded much better but didnt get any numbers on this pull. This was also the pull where the o-ring blew, we got VERRRRRY lucky there was no fire as you can see the Alky spraying everywhere at the end of the pull.

3.5 psi pull

14 psi pull

19 psi pull

wow, just looked at the vids. you really got lucky on the last pull that there was no fire. whew. i wonder what caused that to happen.

you can totally hear the converter lugging down the engine on the lower boost settings

It's getting some overkill brackets so there is not a next time. We get the methanol by the 55gal drum at the local race fuel distributor, so yes easy to get.

With the Tq Stopper Intake I am unable to do any burnouts; lack of power/Tq.

So its been a while since any updates ... Below are a couple pics of the new 1/4" fuel rail hold downs (they worked great). Also changed rail color to flat black.

a couple more from test day.

I'll update shortly with vids and ET/MPH #'s...

Thumbs up

Well I can't get the vids to load on this PC (will try to load them later tonight). We were able to make some shakedown runs on the car just in time to realize the slicks were totally junk and I really didn't want to buy new tires for them to just sit all winter so we just made the best of it. After a few crappy passes spinning we went to no boost (actually -5 vac) just letting the car roll out of the beams under N/A power, hence the 1.73 short time. It got to 3.5psi 1.6sec out and a slow ramp to full boost (12psi) 2.8 sec in. It was soft but it didn't spin so that was good. Time Ticket is below. Once at 12 psi it pulled pretty good picking up over 32mph in the second 1/8th. For 3850lbs and low boost I'm happy with the MPH.

I think thats it for this year. New tires in March and testing will continue.

Hey its the Tq Stopper Intake/ LMFAO. So little tq that we had to leave it on gate pressure, to get it down the track.

good numbers man. that thing is going to fly once it gets going.

116 mph is already in the fives with a good launch, and with a good launch the mph will go up significantly.

what tire size are you running? 3 speed trans?
