I love spraying base clear. Clear takes a special feel. It's like painting with water.

Nice work man! In for updates.

I'm digging the wrinkled valve covers, and the engine bay paint.

Thanks! I wasnt too sure on how the wrinkle coat would turn out. it was a $9 trial an error and i think they turned out pretty good. definitely a little different! The bay paint was a lot of fun to spray! It was really pretty simple to do. That was the first time ive sprayed anything with an hvlp gun.

Working on the engine harness now, i got it stripped of the old lume tonight, rerouted the alternator wire and start re-luming it with some power braid. Its gonna turn out pretty nice. I plan on having it done sunday, and the engine in next wednesday/thursday!

If I were you I'd take my time with the engine harness. If I could do it again and not be in a rush I would have re-routed a lot of wires and extended a bunch. I'm pretty sure there is enough room under the battery to mount the whole PCM if you wanna get frisky lol. I was going to try but haven't got around to it yet and having the engine and everything installed already makes it more of a PITA.

well I've relumed the engine harness with powerbraid and the only wire ill have to extend is the MAF. i havent got thesecondary harness mounted yet but have test fitted and it seems it'll all work fine wihout extending n e thing. plus u can't see it. if i need to extend anything i will. ill prolly tackle it here in the next week or so. next weekend, i plan on finishing up the downpipes and get the wastegates mounted.

say for not replying sooner, it didnt even update in my subscriptions...

Looks good. I think the throttle body would look better black though. Sticks out way too much.

Thank ya sirs! lol. Hopefully ill be able to start it by the end of august. We will see. Before i can start it, i have to..

-Finish DP and wastegates
-Fab cold side
-Buy/Install fuel system
-Relocate battery
-Buy/Install ABS Delete kit

That should allow me to start it and make sure nothing is going to leak, squeal, grind, pop, smoke or explode. Then itll be a waiting game on money so i can purchase a tranny and converter..
