It's a treadstone air to air vertical flow 3.5" core.

Did you ever measure to see how much pressure drop? It can't be much seeing how well yours runs. I run the cheap ebay and I think its holding my set up back.

The treadstone has far more flow area than a typical horizontal flow eBay intercooler. Pressure drop should be greatly reduced above 20 psi.

What king of back pressure numbers are you experiencing with the pass through style log manifold?

Very impressive all around!!! I like that you're getting it done with a 218 cam as well.

Thanks guys! I honestly have never done any pressure tests I have only checked the IAT's a couple times and they get to 200 deg pretty quick on a 95 deg day. I think a larger turbo or twins might a lot cooler.

Good god man, that thing moves out! And on a T4 also, really like to see that since I thought a T4 wouldn't get me to my goals on a iron 347... obviously it wouldn't be an issue.

The main thing with Stock 48 is he just has everything well set up and matched. If I had a lift I would get one of his cams to see how it does compared to my custom tick cam. I never knew that he sold cams or I would have probably tried one of his first just because it is a much smaller cam so you know the spool has to be crazy fast. Stock just has one of the baddest and simplest set ups...period.

Stock48- You should really submit your car for the book street sleepers. It's a Nova that was the number 1 car that Kurt did and its bad *** but it runs 9's and yours runs 8's.

I'll eventually pick up one of his triple 12s after my car has been up and running and tuned. I'm in BIG favor of back to back dyno comparisons, as I plan to also do one for the stock truck intake and the holley high ram.

From what I've read from most of the people who have ran the triple 12, its one of the best mods they've done.

I like the way you think...Back to back is the only way to know if you are really making any improvements.

I would love to see the results from both those tests.

What cam are you running right now ?

Stock L33 cam, so its comparable to LS1 and most other stock truck cams. Its a good baseline for comparison.

Its crazy what these new motors will do. 8 seconds?? On a "stock" 6.0l. Back in the day it would take a fully built not streetable race motor to do this. Great setup. Seriously well thought out. And executed perfectly. If you ever leave off the transbrake. I could easily see an 8.1. Or even a 7.9. That 60' time is impressive for leaving at 2psi off the foot. Congrats dude. Me and my dad have a 64 nova. Midly built 383. Runs 7.0 at 103 in the 1/8th. Just motor. Im thinking I might try and convince my dad to do a turbo build hahaha.

Actually I have always been a NA guy but after playing with the turbo combo in my shop truck I started to become obsessed with turbo's lol. Im confident I could have built a simi aggressive NA BBC combo to run mid high 8's in this car but I would have spent 2X as much $ and sacraficed streetability to end up racing against cheating NA guys or turbo cars anyway. With the turbo combo I was able to basically pirate the combo right out of my tow/shop truck that I put 10-15k miles a yr on and throw it in this car and it went 8's right off the bat. I have no doubt 7's are possible in this car with a little more turbo, and engine but as it is I think high 8.0's to low teens are about it. Being conservative I know there is at least a tenth left in the 60', a tenth in the weather, and a tenth in the turbo. I think if I were to stick it in a 300 lbs lighter fox body mustang that will 60' yet another .1 on that and cut the air much better it might get somewhere tho. The crazy thing to think about is these are all parts that I have been selling and installing on truck customers for years and have been daily driven 100k + miles.

I don't get much call for them but have done a few. Most of the lobes I use will actually run either way. I wouldn't get any more agressive on the lobe unless running a NA combo.

All you use is the stock truck intake to go that fast?
