I know the MAST stuff is good....but I want to only spend the money I need to spend to reach my goal. No need to just completely throw money away.

If PRC 247's will make 1,100+ RWHP or another cheaper thick deck head.....I'll get those.

Any head can make those numbers, it will just take more boost.

I want a head that will make the most power with the least boost.......

Maybe the question is......if I can find a head that flows 380-390cfm @ .600, I should use it....right....?

I'm using LSA heads. They have already been over the 1000rwhp mark in stock form. AI and TEA will even port them for under $700.

Trick Flow 235's.

Andreas went 6.70's with those heads. Mike Brown went 7.30's with a hydraulic cam and TFS 235's.

Proven power.

Looks like people are liking and having good results with the PRC 260's. They are on my radar as long as they keep performing well. Being priced well helps a lot too.

You mean PRC 265's......?

I know we don't need the best flowing heads to make big power with BOOSTED set ups.

But should I get the best flowing heads possible for the money I have to spend.......? What will this do for my TT set up......allow more power with less boost...?
That's a big plus since I have 4 bolts per cylinder only......right...?

Also, I see there price is $2,399 for the PRC 265 heads.....IS THAT FOR BOTH HEADS....?

Well these heads work on my 390ci iron engine with flat top pistons?

If you want a head that flows 380-390 @ .600" Lift you would need some worked AllPro or similar style head (I would do LS3 Style) If you want a good budget head that flows great the PRC 260 is what you need.

Honestly for a motor with an OEM style intake, the larger CSA of the larger port volumes isn't necessary.

I would go with the 250's on anything with a OEM style(a la Fast, LS6, LS7, LS3 etc.).

Pretty sure he has mast heads now for the 6.70 pass...still badass example, iirc it did like 1680hp flywheel with lsx and 235 TFS

Also another great car is turbo Tim's pinto 7.7s at 177mph with out of the box 225 TFS 4 bolt heads and iron stock block 6.0 408

No. He went 6.70's with TFS 235's. He has never run Mast heads. He has Warhawk heads now and a Warhawk block.

He has been 6.20's with the Warhawk block and heads.

I stand corrected, TFS always seem to get it done....

Do you have a link to any of those passes or a thread, it has been awhile since I read up on his car

Thanks

Chris
