Sorry Jason, forgot man! Thanks bro, you know it's been a long road back to a turbo car for me!

My phone is messed up and I can't upload videos to anything other than Facebook. My touchpad is messed up and I can't type in a name for the video on Youtube and without a name it won't let you upload the video.

I don't have to type a name for the video on Facebook and I can just hit the upload button and it posts it to Facebook.

You're not missing anything special! lol

Went to Piedmont Dragway last night. Just needed to get back behind the wheel of a fast car and familiarize myself with the car and procedures of which switches to turn on(seems like too many!), what to do, what not to do etc. Left the boost controller off all night long and just ran it on the waste gate spring. It makes 9psi in most of first gear and 10psi at the very top of first gear. It makes 11.5-12psi at the bottom of high gear and 10.5-10.8psi at the top of high gear.

Had a few small issues like fouled plugs and bump box wasn't working correctly on the last two passes. The fouled plugs caused the first pass to be a throw away pass as it was breaking up in the burn out box and down track. Second pass the bump box button acted up and wouldn't work until I hit it 4 times to get two bumps into the second beams. It went 6.18@116mph on the second pass, but I realized after looking at the log that I shifted at 6000rpm LOL!

Third pass the bump box acted up even worse and caused me to stage extremely deep. I'm really surprised it didn't red light me. I went red by .02 on the third and last pass, but I shifted at 7250 on the last pass and it improved to a 118mph pass. Still on 10psi.

It fell 1800rpm on the shift and went through the traps at 6000rpm. Converter is pulling the engine down tremendously on launch and on the high gear shift on 10psi. It needs a ton more power, but this converter is bad ***. It's going to be nice and tight and extremely efficient. If I plug in 6000rpm, 4.10 rear gear, 87" roll out and 118mph it shows NEGATIVE slip. Don't know how that is possible.

It was a good night because nothing broke and nothing messed up other than small fixable things. I have a feeling that if I hadn't deep staged on that last pass and the bump button hadn't made me sit on the trans brake for 8 seconds that it would of ran a 6.0@120mph on 10psi.

It felt great to be back in a fast car and just to get to go down the track again. The feeling of that power coming in is something I've missed for a long time. I didn't want to go out there on the first outing and throw the sink at it, but after that 3rd pass last night I was already telling the guys, "Ok it feels boring now time to turn it up." LOL

I guess you found a truck to pull your trailer. Sounds like a good night overall. Nothing leaking or falling off is always good.

Have you re-weighed it yet?

It weighed around 3200 lbs. last night.

I have a race tomorrow at Wilkesboro Dragway in Wilkesboro, NC.

I've already built a boost curve for the first pass tomorrow so we'll be turning the C02 on for the first time then. Hoping for a tight track and cooler weather to keep the track cool.

Although we didn't give it any power last night, not spinning the tires was a great feeling. Hope it continues until we really start pouring the coals to it and power management on these radials becomes trickier.

Awesome Martin.
When it starts scaring you, you have enough boost in it!

When I first started racing, going fast was awesome. Without having that feeling for almost two years I was half worried I wouldn't know what to do when the power came in.

It was like riding a bicycle!

I don't see any reason why we won't turn it all the way up tomorrow if the track is there.

Glad everything went smooth for you on the first outing.

I know your last converter was FTI, but isn't this one a PTC unit?

Well it was stated that 25psi wasn't all the way up and at that level it made 500ish more rwhp than on that video. It's hard to say what 4 digit number it makes with the wick turned to the max. Hopefully it done well today at the race and we get some awesome updates.
