FIC2000 and E85 issues.

So some background:
1) Set 1 put in June 2012. Drove over 3,000 miles on the 2012 Hot Rod Power tour and around to events. Failed in August 2012. Replaced them, lasted through November with little driving.
2) Set 2 put in Sept 2012. Took car apart over winter to port heads, change cam and intake from FAST 102 to Super Vic. Started the car in May 2013, injectors failed on the second day of the new setup.
3) Set 3 put in May 2013. 3,000 miles since May on 2013 Hot Rod power tour, driving around etc. Failed Sept 2013.
I'm guessing its more of a temperature issue with my setup. I run the big Magnafuel 4703 pump and it flows so much fuel that it heats up quite a bit over the rails, especially over long trips. It's not a drag car so I drive it to a lot of places and especially the HRPT. My fuel tank is aluminum and it gets hot to the touch.
So I'm thinking the very hot ethanol is partially to blame. Could be why others are not having issues while I am. So I plan to go down to a smaller non CNG injector and when I finally upgrade to the F1-X I'll worry about what to do then. Trying to stay away from a low-Z control box if possible but when I step the HP up later I'll worry about it then. Hopefully there will be other options by then but if not I'll go low-Z.

I double checked my filters because I thought they were 100micron and 10 micron.
I'm running the MP-7006 150 micron plastic pre-filter before the pump and the MP-7008 25 micron stainless steel mesh right before the split to the rails.

The non PTFE line or E85 approved line will start to slowly melt away and will gum up anything in its flow path. I messed around with a piece of steel braid non ptfe line in a bowl of e85 and there was enough residue that it would easily plug up a injector. You should see what it does to "teflon" plumber's tape lol.

I've been running the same injectors for over a yr now with no issues. All my line is the Aeroquip AQP socketless hose. I got a Aeromotice 40 micron stainless filter pre pump and thats it. I get E85 from HEB only here locally and no issues. There are a few more local cars that get fuel from the Valero and they get clogged injectors on occasion. I put a little over 5k miles on it also.

Joe, what brand of line are you using?
Im goin to test some more E85 next week, I have some extra braided line laying around, im going to submerge it in some E85 for a couple weeks and see what happens.

Wondering if I have an injector crapping out. They are super loud, but I am not sure if that is normal for these 160's or not. I know there are some of the bosch that I have used before that are pretty loud injectors in general. I just want my **** to work well at this point. Tired of the stupid little issues and unfortunately I have injectors that may be crap, but some how some people are making them work.....not sure the secret, but they are doing it.

All ethanol is hydroscopic, which is the problem
Even if some don't have problems it doesn't change the fact that they are succeptiple to corrosion issues
Look at some pictures of the 2000s tore down, you will see
Too many ferrous internals
