Default Looking at going turbo.

So I was just going to do a h/c/I with a shot nitrous. But lately I have been spending lots of time in this section looking at different set-ups and trying to learn about it. Really like the idea of power on demand without having to fill the bottle and different tunes when I want to spray. Car is 99% street car. Narrowed it down to 2 kits , Huron Speed or the On3 Performance a/c kits. I know both need a turbo k-member. Could I run either one with the a/c removed until I could get the k-member?

If you can afford it turbo is the way to go.

Reach out to TurboJoe@straightline. He can fab you a kit to keep the stock kmember and AC. His turbo headers are some of the best on the market.

The K-Member is needed for header clearance, so no.

The motor build looks like this:
block : ls1
crank : stock
rods : Eagle or Scat 6.125
pistons : ?
oil pump : ported ls6
heads : 799's with a valve job (already have)
cam : comp cams - 223/231 - .610" / .617" - 115+4 (already have)
springs : BTR-S 002 max pressure .650" duals (already have)
lifters : ls7 or btr with new trays
timing chain : ls2
rockers : stock with comp or btr upgrade
intake :Fast 92 (already have)
tb : Fast 92 (already have)
head gaskets : ls9
head bolts : arp
How does that look so far?

I would sell your fast intake and tb because you won't need it and the money could be better spent. The stock crank has made over 1k so I would use that.

For now the fast set-up will be staying. If I do get a different intake I think it will be an ls2. What would a good stall be for a turbo combo. I was going to get a 3600 before. Do you need anti-ballooning option?

I would love to pick up that kit , just not in the budget . Car is parked for the winter and no place to work on it. My plan was to buy pieces through out the winter. sent you a pm this morning.

So I think I found my hot side. It's modular turbo set-up. Decided to lose the a/c completely. Any reviews on it? Yes I searched but not reviews on it.

You narrowed it down to those two? Make sure you get the right kit for what you want. The right kit goes a long way with these builds
