FIRE SPITTING, 550rwhp+, PROCHARGED GMC SIERRA
Customer brought us his extremely nice, very clean 2012 GMC Sierra equipped with a 6.2L engine and square port heads. The truck already had a nice true dual exhaust system that he wanted to keep. So we fabricated a very nice set of 3" connection pipes that were fabricated in house out of 304 stainless steel, TIG welded and back purged. This was necessitated by the 1x7/8" Kooks headers we installed at the same time as the Procharger.
Right now the truck is de-tuned due to running out of fuel at 5800-6000rpm, but plans are in the works to remedy the situation and see if we can't put this thing closer to 600rwhp.
Jonathan is setting up all the shift points in 4WD as the customer is adamant about running this truck hard at the track. If Jonathan were to set up the shift points in 2WD and the truck spins, it will shift and kill E.T./MPH. Although it may tag the limiter a few times this way if it does spin, the owner is adamant about going fast!
The truck ran 9.2 in the 1/8th before these modifications and all he wants is a 7 second 1/8th mile time slip! We're already discussing stall converter and camshaft options as well. It never ends!
I'll take some pictures of the truck on Monday and of the connection pipes. It is a very nice, extremely clean truck.
This thing will absolutely destroy the tires from a roll all the way into 3rd gear. The 6.2 trucks like this one are absolute beasts and it's honestly the first new truck I've experienced that makes this much power.
Anyway, enjoy the video!

Wow, lol I didn't think it would be taken so seriously. I changed the title.
Lighten up guys! There's always someone who's faster and especially faster than this truck.
The next round of mods should put it over 650+!
Still has the stock cam and stall!

Sorry, no disrespect intended. I just had to throw a bit of diesel representation into the mix. I'm actually hoping to get a few pieces from you to get about 2/3rds as much HP out of this LSX build just to see what it's like in a car that weighs 1/2 as much. All in fun.

This customer was 100% adamant about running a 7 second 1/8th mile time slip with his truck. He has a bunch of friends with diesel trucks that always gave him a hard time before the blower.
Thus the 4WD shift points and a few other touches that should put him where he wants to be. With a stall and cam upgrade I think it will be a awesome street truck on top of what it has already morphed into with the blower and header additions.

Awesome truck, nice job! A cam and converter will make a huge difference. Bob

Then it will be time to chuck the 227/239 115 lsa cam I've got waiting for it along with a 3800 triple disc converter from Fti and shoot for 700 rwhp and low 11 high 10 second passes!

Your going faster than you think already. My truck made 600 4 wheel hp, it would barely spin in first gear and ran 11.40@120mph. If you can spin in third that will run much faster as mine won't spin in the rain in third!

Any lower gear than third though it will. As it kicks down into 1st or 2nd it breaks loose all the way until it shifts into third gear where it continues to melt the tires.

I am saying it will be faster than you think if it spins into 3rd gear. I have 3.73 gears with open diffs front and rear, my truck spins in first gear 5-8 feet, then never squeals a tire in second or third. That is a weight induced 1.65-1.75 sixty foot with 11.40 ET. I cannot spin in second or third in rain. If I leave soft it will run low 12's on wet pavement.

Kurt it won't actually spin while in third and punching it. As the trans shifts into third it will continue to obliterate the 33" tires.
