Default Mufflers with turbo

Looking to hear some examples of what you guys are running for mufflers. I have an 5.3, with an s475, 4in exhaust, with it running all the way back to the axle.

Only problem I've seen is not running a muffler with that long of an exhaust it tends to sound very raspy, and shitty. Looking for suggestions for a single muffler that will cut out the raspyness, but not quiet it down too much.

Let's hear it

the bullet style zero restriction mufflers will reduce that raspyness. It all depends on how many you can fit. Or if you have the room for the oval shaped ones, they would only be more efficient i would assume.

a pair of bullets in series seems to do wonders and it is hard to imagine they hurt flow much.

They did a nice job of knocking the drone down.

I have a single 4" Dynatech Split Flow, it is dumped at the rear axle of a Fox Body. Sounds awesome, drones like hell at highway speeds…

I am also interested in this, I have a magnaflow bullet style just before the axle and it is still loud in the car at 22-2500 rpm @ 75 mph. I need to remove my crimp bent exhaust and upgrade to mandrel bent. I will most likely change the muffler at that time.

I have a single exhaust in 3 in from a 72mm turbo on a 5.3. I have the above muffler and i am very happy with it. I have a qtp cutout approx 2 foot from the turbo and it only picks up .1 in the quarter mile

I have a single magna flow 4" straight through on mine with just a short downpipe dumped out the fender. My build thread has a video towards the end. It is loud but not terrible.
