Cold side going together, the radiator and fans worked out great hard to tell by the pic but there's actually quite a bit of distance from the turbo to the fans



I'm a little worried the blow off valve may be sitting a little high not sure the hood will clear it

Put the catch can where the ac dryer canister used to be, I like the location almost looks factory

And thats where im at, im hoping to have it running later this week Im not sure if it will run ok with the old tune since im going from MAF to Speed Density, or if ill have to re tune it just for the initial start up?

Getting closer Im working on the exhaust im thinking about doing an elec cutout then going over the axle to a magnaflow muffler. Does anybody know how loud the open cutout out will be? Just curious if I should put a small bullet muffler before the cutout. My goal is to have loud when i want and quiet and mild the rest of the time

Looks like a good build, for what its worth I got a 7875 and its nice on the street but I wont get any track numbers till its warm. Why didn't you go with a bigger turbo. If I had that K member I would have gotten something bigger.

Looks killer though

First if your going to run a cutout why would you put a muffler BEFORE the cutout, makes no sense, just run one behind it.

I have a stock lq4 with stock 317's with a custom spec'd cam from Brian Tooley and all the other supporting mods (Cam, valve springs, pushrods, ls7 lifters, rod bolts, head studs and ls9 hg) and my tc76 is doing ok, but does not make near the power most guys are at my boost levels (granted its only 3.5 inch dp and goes through a full exhaust) but FWIW at 11psi it made 480Whp (stalled 4l80e) but with that boost I was able to run a 6.76 @ 104.8mph in the 1/8th, when we turned it up to 15psi it made 585 but I haven't gotten back to the track yet (got kicked last time for no safety equipment). So the #'s are lower than most people pushing 15psi not sure on the times still really curious to see what it runs with 15 psi.

Sell turbo get 7875, will cost you maybe $200 and will be worth 100whp and less bp

With a forged 370 I'd still go with a bigger exh wheel then that. Its day and night difference between the tc and that but if your going to upgrade might as well do it right. I'd go to a PT88 or a BW S476 or S480 with a T4 flange. Not sure you'd fit the either of the BW's though.

the turbo came with the kit I figure I will see how it runs and upgrade if necessary I didn't think a 76mm turbo would be too small for my set up

Depends on drive ability but I'm sure it will see as high as 16lbs

Progress update, got the radiator top mount made up, got the gauges installed and the front clip mounted. We ended up cutting the plastic out of the grill to let the intecooler breathe and got a black billet grille, I think I want to paint the inter cooler black so it doesn't stand out so much, got to give a big shout out to Matt at Gearhead Garrage, for the clean install

We'll some more progress the exhaust is all made up! Next update hopefully will be video of this thing coming to life I'm still not sure it will even run on my old tune so I may have to trailer it to get a base tune in it, guess we'll find out soon enough

Thanks, im hoping I can get with Nic D Monday or Tuesday to get a base tune to break it in, then off to the rollers for the full tune.More video and results to follow.
