Thanks Edgar. Working on that now, I've been trying to secure a dyno for a few hours to smooth out the higher boost settings but no luck just yet.

I was considering getting rid of the turbo in favor of a Centri blower as I want to go with a 6 speed. However, I the 78/75 with a .96 AR turbine housing would have near instant spool on a 347. I've got another two months or so to decide, but I've been itching to do this for about two years now. Post some vids of that beast in action already lol.

I hear you. Been hooked for a while myself now. Don't worry videos are coming soon!

I had an LQ4/MP112/4L80E combo in mine when I bought it. Makes a nice street car/daily driver. The Z cars seem to work well with the V8's, but If I could turn the clock back a year, I'd have went with a 2JZ.

The 1JZ and 2JZ engines make great power, but I just can't stand the sound. I have an iron 347 with Eagle rods, arp bolts and Diamond -9cc pistons sitting in my garage already. Either it's going in the formula or the Z, when I get it. If it goes in the formula, than the LS1 with go into the Z.

The MP112 was something I looked into, but I think that would be too much torque for a ~2800lb car. That's why I was thinking a Centri might be good, but I already have the turbo, so I'll atleast try it. I know there tiny little things but the engine bay can't be much worse than an f body, right?..

Biggest issue I'm having is stopping the arc. I'm not able to get enough control and it likes to heat up at the end of the weld. I'm still learning though.

Are you running with no a/c and no power steering? That's what I'm doing, and I'm trying to find the right combination of parts to run the Corvette spec ATI so the Dailey right side mount dry sump with work with the rest of the system.

No A/C no power steering. I'm running Fbody accessories with the LS2/3 wetsump pan.

Sounds like it can be done, might take a bit of trial and error. I just got the word yesterday that my parts will soon exit machine shop purgatory after serving a 9 month sentence. Now on to the builder to see just how much of a pain in the butt it is to fit the LS covers, pan and external parts to the Dart block.
I sure appreciate the excellent write up on your build. A lot of food for thought.

Great news Ron. My engine served almost 11 months.. It sure was nice to get it back. I'm sure everything will go together fine.. Hopefully anyways. I'm glad some of what I posted can help. I'm trying to document as much as I can but I'm a bit scatter brained.

I'm looking forward to actually being able to do something. I just called up some old programs for T4 flanges, HX40 flanges, and 1/2 Marmon flanges to see if I still had them. I think I saw dust come out of the computer when I called them up. Been a while.
