300ZX Turbo L33 Build So, I decided to sell off all my VG30DETT stuff including EXP-100 turbo kit, built short block, TH400swap, and solid valve train to go turbo LSx. Plans are to keep the car streetable for true street competitions, Drag Week, and cruise-ins with some reliability. Comments and criticism is always appreciated.The car currently has a 8.50 rollcage and chute, but will probably be updated.
My plans for the drivetrain are:
Engine
-2005 L33 Alminum 5.3 that comes with 799 Casting Heads
-Only Mods will Be ARP Head Studs, LS9 Head Gaskets, Custom Cam, and Valvesprings
Turbo
-Twin Precision 6766 or Single Billet S476
Transmission
-Rossler 4L80E
EMS
Holley Dominator EFI. I also plan to interface this with a Racepack IQ3.

I decided to use an L33 as the mock up motor and learning tool, before I install the built motor. This will also give me time to sort out the chassis and suspension.
