The scrapyard didn't have the harness or ecm so I planned on getting one but I wanted to get in touch with who I'm going to use to tune it and see if any year or model ecm's are better.

For the harness I'm looking at PSI but they're $500 so I may try to modify one myself.

HPTuners will probably be the program used to modify the ecm.

I'm guessing that image is reversed since the alt appears to be on the driver's side. Are those factory truck manifolds (Just looked up your build and see they are SS F body manifolds)? I know it's probably not a big deal for my build but I was going to try to make each side similar lengths before I collect them to go to the turbo. Do you have a picture of that setup from the other side?

If your using HPtuners, you just need to make sure you get the correct ECU and harness for your engine.

The image is not reversed. Fbody alt is on lower driverside. They are 98 Fbody manifolds. (nothing wrong with cast though). Pics are all in my build thread. Pass side is a flipped Fbody manifold 2.5" piping to T4. My merge is not something I suggest you copy. I had limited space and patience when I built this.

Do you have a link to your photobucket or wherever they are hosted? Only a couple of pics toward the end of your build thread show up for me.

I tried to check the crank sensor this weekend and the only sensor I see down by the starter is all black. Did you mean the wire colors going to the sensor? Because I bought mine at a salvage yard with no harness...

Thats a good thing. Means you have the 24x with the 3bolt 1t cam gear already.

Besides the Crank Sensor is there any other way to figure it out without taking parts off? Went to check my block today and realize I dont have the sensor so I have to get one.

Not sure if anyone else can verify this, but for LM7s I saw in a reference book that 05' and older are 24x and 06 and newer are 58x...
