If you get the right one it will sit where the factory one does with no issues.

I welded 4 metal tabs the width of the radiator thickness in front and behind the radiator to keep the bottom from moving forward or backward. They are positioned close to the tanks and are a bout 2" wide. The radiator fits in them so snug it almost stands up by itself lol.

Standing it up, it will slide out even if its 27.5" wide like everyone uses.

i took some 1" wide aluminum flat stock and cut it two pieces about 2-2.5" long. bent it like an L at the appropriate angle to bolt to the lower support and support against the end tanks of the radiator and glued a rubber isolator to the part on the end tank

no pics, sorry

I found two rubber stand thingy's at an ace hardware. Slipped a bolt in it to hold it to the support and the rubber thingys sit nicely in the gap on the bottom of the rad. 4 years. 0 problems

EDIT:. found them
http://www.acehardware.com/product/i...ductId=1415906
they are not for automotive use

Sometimes the source of inspiration is walking up and down various isles in general and hardware stores
