Oh got ya. So you likely got a better deal than I on your clutch I will take your advice on the MC. It will get swapped when the car is sorted and ready for an attempt of a dig race.

Got the QM Slave set up figured out-
And got the trans/axles/diff in. Trying to nail down what fluid I want to run for maximum high duration load protection. Leaning towards a 50/50 Redline MTL and light shockproof. I know ATf/lighter the better for T56 but years of blowing stuff up has shown me that super-light fluid only leads to quickly broken transmissions.
Also did some work on my Ching Chong gates. I will post a review on these later. Hate to say it, they are the best I have seen out of them yet.

Made some more progress.
Spray bomb'd the manifolds with BBQ paint. "Baked" them in the sun. Tested the finish by trying to scratch it off with a screw driver. To my surprise-it did not come off.
Showing the brace, and the best a 10 year old harbor freight welder will weld.
And Wrapped. This stuff is 100 times easier than the old fiberglass wraps, and in my experience wears much better especially when exposed to the elements, like on a motorcycle.
Oil feed using the OE block off plate on the filter housing
Oil Drain-the EASY way! Just use the Oil Level sensor whole. No removing the oil pan, no welding, no BS. Yes, it is a little below oil level in the pan, but I have never had drain issues using this whole. (and really, the OEM DSM/Evo drain back is partially submerged as well. To each his own though. I always choose the path of least resistance.

Last few weeks have been spent back in Mitsubishi land. Has to tune a pile of cars before the DSM shootout, and finish off a build with a friend.
Just a mild 2.0L AWD swap in a $50 Mitsu Mirage. Ended up with 620whp out of a 10 year old GT35r in a small .63 turbine on a conservative cam 2 tune. He wanted a "all day long" tune, so I kept it safe
None of the cars I tuned blew up, so I guess I did OK. El Mirage went 9.6@149

When I catch up at work-I will be finishing up the RX-7. Goal is first fire by 9/1

She lives!
First fire. Runs/sounds great. Took a while to get the clutch to work, but we are all square now. Still needs a good brake bleed before she is back on the ground. I will also be doing a full review of these AWESOME turbos shortly. IMO these are a game changer in terms of value per dollar spent.
I am obviously undecided on the inter cooler. I am torn between A2A and A2W I have build a few of both set ups, but never used an A2W on my personal car.
Opinions?

I am a local Beta Tester. I don’t own them (yet) but I will say that I would pay $800 in a heartbeat for them compared to the PTE billet stuff I have grenade and had not warrantiesd on 4 banger junk over the years. It would be comparable to a 6765- (now the 6766) which in BB for is a $2200 turbo!! Turbine is a copy of more current efficient Garrett GT technology, and smaller at 63.xx mm so it should come on harder than 6766 with similar max compressor flow abilities. I have not had the CHRA apart, but you can tell it’s a BB CHRA. Not as loud as the Steel bearings of a Garrett BB CHRA but similar feel and sound.

Its all good Im using a 9 year old Harbor Freight welder. This is the RnD phase-if it all holds up I will go to the chop and follow up with a Lincon 215

So, evidently this is somehow the first running TT LS powered FC "eva", so until otherwise noted I will claim that title.
As for the intercooler dilemma-I will be making a "hot pipe" until I figure out whether it it will be A2A or A2W. Leaning towards A2A with that amount of street action it will see. Goal is to have it driving by Saturday as my weekends are booked clear though October.
