Well we got Kyles (NA$TY-TA)pile rollin down the road with the annoying little whining noise coming from under the hood. I tell you what it was a lot easier with the blower off and it sounds pretty good. I am sure Kyle will be on here to give you all the little details but all in all I think he is very happy.

Kyle why so big?

it will probably work ok but I think a 52.5 might have been a better choice????

your tensioner must be darn close to the stop????

hopefully I am wrong and it's gripping like a ****

That's the one they sent us for our 3.7 pulleys.....Here is where my tensioner sits with the 53 1/8 belt.

What s/c pulley do you have Heath?

I don't think that Kyle has really seen any big boost because his car isn't tuned yet so he can't really crack it open, he said he had way to much timing in it and it is still running pig rich but he is off work for like a week so I am sure he is sleeping in

Heath,
The updated instructions are on our website. You may want to go thru them and see if you installed your set up properly. From what you've posted, it sounds like it's not quite right...you should not have to remove the stop...give us a call if you need more help.

Thanks,
Wendy

AHHHHHH sleeping in....... the best...... just woke up... not like some people we know who sleep to 3pm huh Tommy.....
Thanks Tommy for posting up for me last night i kinda pissed off my other half, so i spent some time with here....... Recieved my Pulley @530pm last night....... at least i recieved it... Its the 3.7" blower pulley. Tommy, Jay and me mocked it up last night to make sure everything was aligned (thanks Scott for the straight edge) and then i took the blower back off. Took the dust cover out of the tensioner.... placed the tensioner tool in the slot and rotated it clockwise till Tommy saw 10-12 on the tensioner. Tommy torgued the nut down and then i tried to put the belt on the crank and it was short....... I was thinking why.... then i looked and the idler was all the way tot he top against the spring tensioner....... it had some tension on it..... I had tommy move the tensioner so i could get some slack in the belt and set my idler pulley. I have great tension........... Ill take more pics today as i check it on the lift as im putting on my DSSL and changing my plugs to a colder plug. TR-55's in there now. I almost forgot what the blower sounded like........ Took it out for a spin and i was being easy on it because the car still has full timing and i dont know where fuel is up top because i havent had the new motor over 4K RPM's yet and a base tune was in there to get miles on the car. Took in out on the road and let the car shift into third and held third. Maybe a 1/4 throttle and at about 3500 ill start seeing boost and it will start rising pretty fast before i let off. Seeing 3-5 psi by about 4500 rpm's. then i let off. I plan on taking the motor up to 6500-6700 rpm's so alot of boost is to be made up top for sure. Car feels really strong on boost. also forgot what that felt like also. Did that a few more times to watch my fuel pressure..... steady as a rock with that Bousch 420L. Came back checked the belts and alignment and it looks good so far. The true test will be flashing it or on the dyno friday. I have no doubt it will be were i want and i really dont care about what psi i see i want rwhp numbers....... then its off to HRP to do some track testing. Belt tension feels even better then it did before when i was running the MMS crank pulley and 4" blower pulley and i was seeing 11 psi with no slip......... so far so good.... ill post up more later today. Thanks to Scott and Wendy at SDCE.
Kyle

Yea I kinda figured that, thats why I went ahead and let the guys know that it was on and everything looked good, you know man the more I think about it and after seeing how good this pully setup looks with the ATI when I get my car I mighht just have to do little noise maker myself instead of the "Nitrous" but you know how much I like the laughing gas it will be hard to break away from , but I kinda like the idea of a big "ALL BORE" with about 14 PSI you know what I am talking about.

Wendy, the stop I have hangs over the side of the bracket just enough to shred the outside of the belt. I could enlarge the bolt hole on the stop and slide it over towards the front of the car so it hangs over the front edge of the bracket and not the back as it does now, but I didn't see the point. What does having the stop there buy me?

P.S. Still no belt
