SDCE Track testing within......
Whatever you do, don't give up. Just a few little bugs to work out. I am sure with the help from Scott at SDCE you can get everything working. If the corvette guys can make high horsepower with these I am sure we can too. We can't give those vette guys any more reason to be cocky.

ps..my car is about a month away from being done...but then again, thats what i said 3 months ago.
This is what I was posting about a few post back. The less restrictions there are, the less boost you will see especially on a larger displacement engine. He is also choking the car with the twin intercoolers. He needs to pulley up to a 3.4 if he is going to spin it to 6800 rpm.on a side note, both inserts are out and man o man is there a big difference in sound......now I see why I put them in. I think I will hit the dyno tomorrow.

its not just a simple swap. you will need different pistons, your heads wont optimize the combo..yadayada. you got all the stuff, make it work for you. never deviate from your primary goals, i have been racing for 10 years and thats the first thing i learned. if you get sidetracked, your car will never be at its best because you will be wondering about the next thing. Sorry for highjacking your thread Jer.....

But then again, I am under the car myself doing my own work. My buddy Neal will help out on occassion and my buddy Josh helps when he can, but they will never have a say on what goes on with MY car or MY money and vice versa. Its easy to say, "hey just sell the blower, get some high comp pistons and some high comp heads, with a N2O kit and you will be set"...when it isn't your car. It also sucks to hear that kind of crap after you spent so much $$/time on the current set up, some friend huh. Garage.. man you have it good. I have a slab of concrete outside

I don't know where you have been, but my ATI car ran consistent numbers all season last year mid 11's to be exact and the MPH was always consistent 115-117. That is awesome for a car at this altitude...did I mention it was driven everyday? Its the few that are pushing the envelope that are running into issues, but hey LS1 FI hasn't been around for too long. I've been doing it for a while now since PD released the first FI kit for the LS1. For about 7-8 months I have been wrestling with pulley problems but now they are looking to be fixed.....Us ATI LS1 F-body Guys..Me, Kyle, Bos, Heath, Black LS1 T/A and a few others are making it easy for the rest who follow in our footsteps. Those who are looking for big boost and big power from their ATI kits just have to come here and look up what needs to be done to achieve big boost and big numbers. But it takes someone to walk those first steps. We did the stock ATI thing and now we are doing the built LS1/6 ATI thing now, gotta remember there weren't a lot of people doing this type of set up last year.
I know and you know, Kyles power problem lies elsewhere...So keep it there, I will out of respect for my friend Kyle.
Kyle, No problem buddy I just want to help see you through your problems. I know I might not be able to turn a wrench on your ride, but you know you can ask me anything and I will help the best I can from a state away. Like my profile says...always willing to help.

LS1 Vortech kits use a 8.00 crank pulley and with a 3.12 blower pulley, the aftercooled kit is rated for 9psi. A few guys have upgraded to 2.50 pulleys to push the blower to 12 or psi on built engines. How does your ATI pulley combo stack up?
