Yes, you read that correctly. This guy is building an LS1 powered '57 Chevy, with eight!! turbos on it.
WHY? Surely couldn't be for performance optimization, probably just cool factor.

The 8 turbo engine ran great on the dyno. Built boost fast and held steady throughout rpm band. Had a cool sound when you shut the throttle after a run. It was a crazy site to see!
The Aztec project started life as a drag build with the C5R 427 engine and a turbo 400 backed by a 12 bolt rear axle. About two months into the build it changed to a road race build so the 400 turbo trans made way for a 6 speed manual. It is very good handling and has good straight line power but its never been on a dragstrip yet.
