drove around the block yesterday and hit all 4 gears, so junkyard trans works. wired in the trans controller to the ms3 ecu minutes before testing it around the block lol

i have to run a reference to the wastegate to see where its at, and run a relay power wire to my trans cooler fan setup, other than that its small things

i have a trans leak at the main harness plug, bleh, sometimes they do lol
and i have a coolant leak possibly somewhere, at least when i moved it, and parked that is what i found under the car, coolant and trans fluid lol

my friends came over at 9pm the other night and we banged out a ton of alum welding for the coronet and my colorado, finished the cold side piping with left overs

made a nice conversion harness for my friends welder

Hahahaha that charge pipe going to the throttle body. It will be funny when you spank people and then pop your hood

Maybe I missed it but did you say what trans controller you were going to use this time? Ever consider trying out the Megashift? Loving the build so far. Nice to see you getting back to your sloppy roots!

What's the difference between the gold box and the pro setup aside from the obvious case differences? Is the hardware inside different?

yes, the ECU is the same, and it has similar connectors, twin 35pin

but the PCB routing and ins and outs are different as far as i know

you cant take a ms3pro tune and load it on a gold box, the same things are not attached to the same places internally.

That makes sense. So other than location of internal connections, the two boxes have the same abilities (boost control and traction control for example) just can't use the same tune to accomplish it.

sounds like once you get that tune squared up it'll be time for that traction control, eh?
