Had somewhat of the same problem on our S10, the stock filter new had trouble with the volume not pressure for some reason so we swapped in an off the shelf clip in just like the stock one and problem went away.

Just curious, i dunno if you mentioned it but, why the 78/75 ? I see guys have been doing well with it but, thats not much bigger than the 76/65 and you said the exh side is a major key to big power. Why not the VS 88/83 or the S476r you had good luck with?

My 76/65 response is ridiculous, which is fun on the street, But i can tell the small exh is holding it back. Im approx 3800lb also and im looking for another turbo.
Goal is high 9s. Any suggestions for me since you've used just about every awesome budget turbo? Haha thanks!

Basically wondered the same thing. I'd like to see a back-to-back between the 78/75 and the new VS 77/83.

That is beyond beautiful. Does it run differently with the exhaust running out the back?

Hey Denmah, I saw you got to use the existing fuel system, you are running the stock truck FPR and the stock in line filter?

Interesting find! What does the stock return regulate the fuel pressure at? Are you planning on installing a boost referenced regulator in the future?

Just curious, did you try blowing in the direction that the pump flows and have the same result?
