Might not be “rubber” but they do make a “plastic like” high pressure push lock style lines for nitrous.

Really common to see on the direct injected FI setups. Specifically the ones that install the nitrous foggers at the injector base.

That hard nylon stuff is very common here in the UK.

Must admit, it has always concerned me for such usage, as with the picture above they also use it for fuel.

Great in theory, very easy routed, very cheap....in terms of robustness against damage ? Bound to be ****. And against contact with anything hot ? also bound to be ****.

But thousands use it and dont seem to have problems.

Im with you man. That seems sketchy at best. Just what a hot engine bay needs is high pressure fuel and nitrous routed in plastic push-lok hose. I believe the Denham used a braided line.

They are compression fittings, not push lock type.

Either way, still very thin nylon...unprotected hose.

Despite it, I dont think I've ever seen a car here have issue with it. It wouldnt be my first choice though, but it would be hard to beat the cost and convenience of it.

from what i have read, heard and used, (i had a busa with a dry kit, shower head and nylon tubing)

splitting it into a shower head knocks the pressure down per port, say 1000psi over 4 cylinders is 250psi per hole and its rated for like 300-350psi so its well within range at least that is the way it was explained to me...

never had issues setup that way.

never ran a feed with 1050psi over nylon either

Unless the shower head heavily restricts flow, there is no reason pressure should change in the system. And if it heavily restricted flow...it probably isnt a good design to start with, as the final jet should always be controlling flow.

Correct. Shower head will not reduce PSI, the jet creates the restriction. The pressure should remain the same across all lines (theoretically).

Was this on the borg S480 or the VSRacing 480 clone?

That's amazing, I saw the C480 in the title but wasn't sure if that was a typo being as this is a record now. Wonder if a borg would do any better or worse.

New slightly more efficient cover is all I'm aware of. I forgot the the % Viren quoted, wasn’t much. You can email and ask. He is good at replying. Has holes as surge ports instead of the standard looking S480 cover.

Regardless if there is a measurable performance bump or not...I would be forced to run no air filter so I can see it every time I pop the hood.

Matt, have you played around with the 3.5" screen, I had one and used the 3 dashboard configs so I could mont. only stuff I wanted, plus setup the cautions so they turned red if out of set limits-it was the only gauge in the car, def worth the money
