To keep my tensioner from hitting the s/c and those blasted rivets, I stuck a flat blade inbetween the s/c and the tensioner like this > | and it kept them apart and made retensioning a snap and now the yellow dots are perfectly aligned at 15.
Bos, I would bet its your tuning also. Mine does the same its really soggy down low but floor it and it goes like hell. NoGo will get it cleaned up once we figure out where the boost is going to sit with the 3.4

what size blower pulley and how much boost are you seeing?? I dont see why not.... the belt wrap is key and there is alot more with this kit.... i had the MMS kit before with a 4" blower pulley seeing 11 psi.

I would for sure say its better than the MMS setup, I know its 10 times better than the ASP 8 rib setup I had w/the stock tensioner setup......I burnt the belt up in one pass.....

Congrats Bos, will be interested to hear your results.
I got my setup in this weekend and man these instructions are sketchy! Anyone have any suggestions on all these little bolts and screws? Maybe it will all make since when I try and install it. But for now just looking at the parts and the instructions, I'm like

Brian,
remember, it can take any one of a million things to make your setup slightly different than Heath's and everyone else's. I think that was proven with the belt choice for your application....keep in mind, Scott has installed MANY of these setups...you have all installed only one each...
Putting the belt on should be just as easy as putting the factory serp belt on. Make sure you're following the instructions correctly. If you're still having trouble, call us.
Try this...Scott said to have a friend pull back the tensioner. Then undo the idler so it slides up. Put the belt around the crank adn other pulleys. Then slide idler down to the bottom as far as needed to get the tension correct. Let the tensioner go and look at it. Repeat if necessary to get tension where you want it.
Other comments from Scott about your brackets...make sure your bolts don't bottom out in your blower. ATI has a bad habit of "shallow tapping" all the holes. Your bracket was all marked up from your blower moving...it's also slightly bent and the cog hole is sliced almost all the way thru the bracket. It's been around and back from all the abuse and should be replaced.
Call us if you need to. LEAVE A MESSAGE if we don't pick up right away so we can call you right back.

The steel bracket works with the SDCE set up. That is what I have and didn't run into any issues. The tensioner slot was even milled 1.25 inches upwards. It all went up smoothly and easily. The instructions are good enough to get everything mounted as it all goes up like you took it off. The only trouble one should run into is learning how to get the tensioner set. But that is quickly learned by looking at the instructions on the website.

I can run the steel stuff, I was just short on $, I got a bracket support to keep it steady, its slightly bent from what scott said, but its no biggie for now....
I just dropped the car off, they are going to pin the crank pulley today and then its gonna hit the dyno tomorrow.......
