88 Cavalier Turbo Build

Hey guys I have a 88 cavalier, got a 5.3L bored out to a 5.7L.

Crankshaft: Callies Dragonslayer
------Rods: Callies Ultra I beam
---pistons: Wiseco -10cc dish top pistons 3.903
---Heads: Air Flow Research 230cc w/72cc chambers
---intake : Holley Hi Ram Intake w/102mm throttle body
----compression is gonna be 9.5:1 so we can pour the boost to it-----

Making progress

While waiting on the engine to be complete, the car needs a lot of work done to it to get it ready to race.... First thing is the rear brakes, they are drums that are getting converted to disc, started working on them yesterday

New Disc brakes came in today, these things look sweet, by speedway bolt up Ford 9in Disc brakes

I do more racing on the street than on the track....

That first pic just glancing at it, I thought it was a Malibu. I guess it was because of the angle, hood and front grill setup with the headlight covers. I dig it!
