Default Anyone running twin on3 61mm turbos

Just wondering if anyone is using the on3 61mm turbos for twin set up. Also would you recommend them. I'm looking at them cause there only $320 a piece.

I got a pair of On3 61s, but the car hasn't been tested yet. Only 4-5 miles on car, still at the upholstery shop.

6.0 with a small cam(223/231) and .68 a/r housings,turbos light right up. Might be too fast into boost,6-7lbs @ 25-2600rpm. that's with a tight converter 23-2400 stall in 80E.

What size pipe did you run from exhaust manifold to turbo? My set up is a 5.7 with 317 heads and a t-56 magnum. So it my spool just a touch slower but I think they would be get for a manual street car.

I saw a 4thgen running the new on3 TT kit was runing them with the vband in and out housings. Think it made around 900 at the wheels.

I'm only trying for about 600 rwhp. I think that's plenty for a street car, for now anyway lol.

I used a set of up and forward headers with 3" collectors so I stayed 3" into the 4T flanges. with .68 a/r housing it spools up very quickly with my 6.0L. But I have plans of switching to larger turbos after a little while.

These 61s would be great for a manual trans or 5.3L

You could make 600hp on twin 50 trims. It will be more than enough.

Here is a full work up with my car. Twin 67's, 5.7, 6 speed. All info

anybody run these gt35 clones yet? are they billet? the v-band in/out turbine housings look nice, especially if the comp wheel is billet. ball bearing worth it?

I figured the 61's would give me plenty of room to grow. I know 600 will be fun for a while then I'm going to want more power.

Well I pulled the trigger last night and ordered a pair of 61mm turbos. Does anyone know what size injectors will handle 600rwhp?

60lbers will probably get you to 600 but just get 80's. They give you room to grow.

If you're on a tight budget, cx racing http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant...gory_Code=INCO

If you want a quality intercooler, treadstone http://www.treadstoneperformance.com...cooler++1000HP

Both of those cores are the short version, both are made in a taller version

LS1 5.7. I have a pair of 317's I plan on putting on it to lower the compression a little.

I think you'll be happy with them. On3 has their smaller twin 55s on 5.3 pickup it made over 600hp & 675tq at 13 lbs with E85 thru a 80E. And working on their 4th gen Camaro kit with twin 61s
