Default Turbo feed AND oil temp sensor?

I plan on running an oil feed line off of a oil cooler line block off plate adapter above the oil filter but I am having a hard time figuring out the parts needed to also include an oil temp sensor as well. all of the adapters appear to not be able to fit the length of the temp sensor . With T fittings I feel like the sensor would block a lot of the oil flow to the feed line.

anyone have any idea of the direction/parts/examples of what i can do?

thanks

the best option i have found is something like this but i can not find it with only 1/8NPT i only see BSPT threads. i still have a concern with the temp sensor blocking the port for the oil feed....

thoughts? anyone using this setup?

You can always take the stock oil pressure sensor behind the intake and use that port for turbo feed and the plate above the oil filter for your pressure gauge.

http://www.holden.co.uk/displayprodu...?pCode=070.255 Is what I used. The oil sending unit goes on top but it's got a 1/8 npt hole for filtered oil feed/aftermarket oil pressure gauge.

I bought mine from Holden UK and it was in my mailbox in FL in less than 2 weeks. They were on top of it and it wasn't that expensive.

did you use yours with temp sensor or just a pressure sensor? the temp sensor is a bit longer and i am concerned it will block oil flow to the feed lines

I'm using the stock oil pressure sensor. Then on the npt hole, I'm using a T for both turbo oil feed and pressure gauge on the dash.

The best place to install an oil temp sensor is always in the pan where it is submerged in oil at all times. Using the oil pressure port wont give you an accurate temp most likely.

Meh. I wouldn't feed the turbo with the last port to receive oil pressure on the entire motor.

This. I used a plug to fill the factory oil level sensor on my LS3 pan. I drilled and tapped the plug for my temp sensor.

Then how come the Improved Racing oil cooler adapter has the sensor built into the housing?

what is reason for something like this instead of just threading in the sending unit to the pan?

No. A bulk head fitting has seal one both sides. It's to insure no leaking.
